From the meaning of “touch” in Latin.
In trigonometric function, tangent makes an infinite & unlimited form when it’s shown in a graph,
while sin and cos make the form of waves with limitation. Tangent extending its area both negative and positive.
We feel the same image when it comes to the knit clothing.
Turning a thread into the clothing –
We explore the technique and propose calculated knit organization with great proportions.
TAN is the knit wear brand based on an orthodox image with reconstructed vintage style.

三角関数のsin、cosがグラフにすると波のようなフォルム示すのに対し、無限の負の方向と、無限の正の方向へと伸びて行くフォルムのtangent。ニットプロダクトの無限の可能性を感じる。
